Effective date: November 4, 2026. Last updated: November 4, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how JuggleTime: First on the Ball (the "App") and the website juggletime.app (the "Site") handle information. The App and Site are operated by Jeff Bullock, an individual developer based in Utah, USA ("JuggleTime," "we," "us"). If you have questions, contact [email protected].
Camera. With your permission, the App uses the iPhone camera to detect the ball and count juggles using on-device computer vision (Apple's Vision and Core ML frameworks). Video frames are processed in memory and immediately discarded. The App does not record, store, or transmit video, images, or audio, and does not use the camera to identify any person. You can turn off camera access at any time in iOS Settings, but juggle counting will not work without it.
Practice data. The App stores juggle counts, session dates and times, goals, streaks, earned screen-time minutes, and App settings (such as which camera to use). This data is stored only on your device. We cannot see it.
Screen Time (Family Controls). To let a parent lock selected apps until a juggling goal is met, the App uses Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks. Apple represents the apps and categories you select as opaque tokens; the App does not learn the names of the apps, and it does not see browsing or app-usage history. All Screen Time information stays on the device, is used only to provide the lock-until-goal and screen-time features, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else, used for advertising, sold, or used for any other purpose.
Purchases. Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store using In-App Purchase and may be shared through Family Sharing. Apple processes payments under Apple's privacy policy. The App receives only the subscription status needed to unlock features (for example, whether a trial or subscription is active). We do not receive your name, Apple ID, or payment card details.
Support emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to respond. Please do not send personal information about a child.
We do not collect names, contact details, precise or coarse location, contacts, photos, health or fitness data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or usage analytics. The App contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
JuggleTime is designed for families: a parent or guardian installs and sets up the App on a child's device, chooses goals, and selects which apps to lock using Apple's Family Controls, which requires parent authorization through Apple's Family Sharing. We do not collect personal information from children. A child's practice data and camera processing stay on the device, and the App contains no ads, external links aimed at children, social features, or in-app purchase prompts directed to children; purchases are handled through Apple, including Ask to Buy where enabled.
Because we do not collect personal information from children under 13, the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) consent requirements are not triggered by the App's normal operation. If you believe a child has sent us personal information (for example, by email), contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
The Site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses in server logs for security and delivery. The Site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising. It stores only your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage, which never leaves your browser.
We do not sell or share personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not disclose it to data brokers. We may disclose information we hold (such as a support email) only if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Practice and Screen Time data remains on your device until you delete it. You can erase it at any time by deleting the App (which removes all App data from the device). Because we do not operate user accounts, there is no account to delete. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and then deleted; you can ask us to delete them sooner.
Data stays on your device and is protected by iOS security features, such as device passcode and data protection. Keep your device passcode and Screen Time passcode private.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. This includes residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Utah (Utah Consumer Privacy Act), other U.S. states, and the EU/UK (GDPR). Because we do not collect App data, most requests can be completed by managing or deleting the App on your device. For anything we do hold, such as a support email, contact [email protected]; we will respond within the time required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
EU/UK users. For support emails, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you. On-device processing is performed by your device to provide the service you request. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
JuggleTime is operated from the United States. Support emails are processed in the United States.
If we change this policy, we will post the update here and change the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we handle information, such as collecting new data, we will give notice in the App and obtain consent where required, including parental consent where required by law, before the change applies.
